Depression Counselling in Mandurah.
You do not have to wait until everything falls apart
Depression does not always arrive as a dramatic collapse. It can creep in quietly. Motivation fades, ordinary tasks feel heavier and the things you usually enjoy stop reaching you in the same way.
Kerry Abbott provides private counselling in Mandurah for people experiencing low mood and early-stage depression symptoms. Sessions give you time to speak honestly about what has changed, understand what may be contributing and find practical ways to support your wellbeing.
You can attend from Impello’s professional office in Mandurah or connect by telehealth. Mobile counselling is available across the Mandurah region, including Halls Head, Greenfields, Meadow Springs, Falcon and Dawesville.
When Life Starts Feeling Heavier
Private depression counselling in Mandurah with Kerry Abbott, offering practical, compassionate support when life feels heavy, exhausting or difficult to manage.
Everday Feelings
Low mood can affect thoughts, energy, relationships and the ability to manage everyday responsibilities. It may develop gradually, making it difficult to recognise how much has changed.
Reduced Enjoyment
Hobbies, social activities and time with other people may no longer feel rewarding. Kerry can help you explore this disconnection and consider gentle ways to re-engage with what matters.
Isolation
When energy is low, answering messages or making plans can feel exhausting. Over time, isolation may deepen the low mood. Counselling can help you think about connection without turning it into another demand.
Counselling That Begins Where You Are.
You do not need to arrive feeling motivated, hopeful or ready with a list of goals. Kerry begins with what you can manage and works with you to understand the circumstances surrounding the low mood.
Sessions may explore:
Changes in mood, motivation and energy
Stress, grief or relationship pressure
Isolation and loneliness
Negative thought patterns
Loss of confidence or purpose
Routines affecting emotional wellbeing
Communication with family or health professionals
Practical and manageable next steps
Kerry supports early-stage depression and low mood. Clients experiencing advanced, complex or worsening depression may be referred to a GP, psychologist, psychiatrist or another appropriate mental health service.
